I have been leading retreats for over nine years now all over the world. I created this retreat for the person looking to deepen their yogic practice, to unveil the aspects of this beautiful lifestyle and implement them into daily life. The practices you will learn are sure to help you deepen self connection, find stillness and learn to trust your inner guidance system,
Named after the Tibetan Medicine Buddha, Menla was founded by Tibet House US to establish an upstate retreat and spa dedicated to bringing authentic Tibetan mind-body healing arts and sciences to the West. It is located on meteorite crater. The local Native American peoples, including the Esopus and Mahicans, regarded this valley and region, with its enormous first-growth hemlock trees, as especially sacred, a place of the spirits.

OUR PRACTICE SPACE
The gorgeous and intimate Tara Sanctuary will be our practice home for the long weekend retreat. We’ll join here for pranayama, meditation, asana and more.
HIGHLIGHTS AND INCLUSIONS:
Three nights stay in single queen or shared double en-suite room
Three daily meals on full days, dinner on arrival day and breakfast on departure day
Daily morning practice including pranayama, meditation and asana of gentle nature
Daily evening practice such as yin, restorative or guided meditation

Feel free to bus to Kingston or Woodstock for fairs or fun

Depart home airport early morning December 5th to arrive early afternoon same day
Departure would be late afternoon from airport back home December 8th, 2024
ACCOMMODATIONS
Spread across three beautifully appointed hotel-style residences these elegant deluxe private rooms and suites with en suite bathrooms can accommodate one to four guests each.
All rooms feature queen and/or twin beds, made up with high thread count organic linens, chairs, writing desk, dresser, telephone, free high-speed wifi, original artwork, and Tibetan accents.
