Follow your Light in the Galapagos

Isla Santa Cruz, Galapagos, Ecuador November 8th-15th, 2025

The retreat center is situated on the fertile slopes of an ancient and extinct volcano in the rural uplands of Santa Cruz Island that itself is located in the heart of the Galapagos Archipelago that lies six-hundred miles west of Ecuador in the Pacific Ocean, South America.

If we look at all life through a lens of magic this allows us the capacity to understand beauty, kindness and compassion. If you look at a beautiful river, field filled with flowers you can feel the energy within the settings. When did we lose this connection? This week together will be filled with practices, rituals and connection that will allow us to be mesmerized by nature, to reconnect to pachamama.

HISTORY & VENUE

The boutique hotel will transport you back in time to an original and authentic Galapagos, where the natural world reigns supreme and where you can reconnect with your inner nature. This award winning hotel offers a unparalleled level of personal service, traditional home cooking, panoramic views from raised terraces, swimming pool, fitness studio, wifi and exclusive access to nature trails through twelve acres of private forest. Giant tortoises lumber through the coffee plantations and birdsong resounds in the canopy above. On an evening, sit out and enjoy the majesty of the night sky, listening for owls and an exhilarating frog chorus.

The center actively embraces and promotes ecologically responsible decision making and a sustainable economic future for Galapagos. Funds raised by our business are routed back into our own conservation effort and the local economy. Our estate is designed in such a way as not to disturb the migration routes of the giant tortoises, and provides a near-natural habitat in which native birds, insects and plants thrive.

The Galapagos Archipelago is considered one of the last natural paradises left on this planet. It is all of our responsibility to look after it.

THE AREA

The grounds comprise twelve acres (five hectares) of private forest replanted with endemic and native trees, under which organic, shade grown ‘conservation coffee’ is growing.

Gourmet coffee

If you’re a coffee lover, you’re going to love your stay here! The center has it’s own plantation comprising 12 acres of coffee producing trees and is proudly the world’s first producer of ‘tortoise friendly coffee’.

The lodge is nestled within this forest and has balconies and terraces that peer out over the top of it, with majestic, panoramic views to the Galapagos National Park, Galapagos Marine Reserve and outlying islands.

In the evenings another world comes alive at Galapagos estate. On a clear night, gaze up into the Milky Way, listen and look out for hunting bats and barn owls, enjoy an educational documentary about Galapagos, or just spend quality time with friends and family.

Delicious meals…

To feed your adventure spirit

We prepare traditional home cooking using local produce for a mixture of traditional Ecuadorian and international fare. And we happily cater to all dietary requirements including paleo, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, lactose free, etc. Not all meals are at the hotel. Three lunches will be served on the day tour boats and one or two dinners will be taken in local restaurants. Each place will be fully briefed on each dietary restriction in the group.
